Via Air travel contact Sinfonia Travel at 1-800-667-7293
and ask for Cathy Northcotte. They are partner with Northwest
Airlines. Destination is Calgary, from there the In-Province
flight should be booked with Northern Sky Aviation to your
destination High-Level Alberta where we will pick you up.
If you decide to drive to La-Crete then we will welcome
you at our residence. top
What to bring?
Identification, Insulated waterproof boots, Light thermal underwear,
Soft clothing, Light sleeping bag, Knife, Camera, Binoculars,
Camp slippers, Personal items, Flash-lite, Small
backpack, Extra glasses, Gore-tex rain gear, Your own
beverages. top
Camp:
The camp located between 57 & 58 latitude west of the
Wood Buffalo National Park was built in the summer of 2000.
This is a new camp that has all the trimmings like hot water
shower, dinning room, home cooked meals, propane lights, wood
burning stoves, wooden side walks, insulated
cabins with propane heating. For sleeping in comfort
we provide solid wooden beds/mattresses & pillows. All you
need to bring is your sleeping bag & towels. [Pictures of the

Weather
In May temperatures can reach 70 to 80 degrees F. ( 15 - 25
C. ) during the day and at night can fall back down to the 30
F. Rainfall is seldom and won't last long one to two days max.
The weather in the spring has never stopped a hunt except for
strong winds we have lost some hr. of hunting.
In the fall September temp. average 50-75 F. ( 10-20 C. )
then going into October temp. may go below freezing at night
with a daytime high of 50 F. ( 5 - 10 C. ) November is a
little colder -10 to +40 F ( -10 to +5 C. ) Snow fall at the
end of October is normal at 2 to 6 inch. top
Hunting Licenses
To avoid delay for travel to camp we will purchase your
hunting License prior to your arrival. The funds for the
License shall be sent at the time of booking. top
Trophy Preparation
We take pride in taking care of your trophy. Your trophy
will be skinned or caped and then frozen in a box for your
way home at no extra cost.
The meat can be taken to a meat processing plant for
cutting. If ready you can take it home right away or it will
be shipped at a later day at the clients expense. There will
be a charge at the meat plant at the hunters expense, however
if you're driving you may wish to take it home with you in
quarters keep in mind that a bull Moose will dress out between
500 to 600 lbs. We encourage the trophy hunter to donate
the meat of a moose to charity.
